AI Knowledge Assistants
Internal knowledge search
Help your team find company knowledge: search across the sources each person may see, with answers that point to the documents behind them.
The problem
Knowledge is spread out
Policies, procedures and project notes live in many places.
People ask people
Colleagues interrupt each other for answers that are written down.
What is included
Search across sources
The repositories you authorise, searched together.
Access permissions
People see only what they are allowed to see.
References
Answers refer to the documents and passages they came from.
Keeping in sync
The index follows changes in the sources.
An example, step by step
Input
A question from two roles
What is the travel expense limit for client visits abroad? Asked by a project manager and by an intern.
- Check each person's access: the manager may read the finance handbook, the intern may not.
- Search only the documents each person may read.
- Answer with references, or say that no accessible document covers it.
Output
Two different, correct answers
The manager gets the limit with a link to the handbook section; the intern is told there is no document they can access on this and who to ask.
How it works
Connect the sources
We connect the repositories you choose, with their access rules.
Index
Documents are split into passages and indexed.
Ask and check
People ask in plain language and check the references.
What you receive
A knowledge search
Over the agreed sources, with access rules.
An evaluation
Results on real questions from your team before launch.
Maintenance notes
How sources are added and how the index stays current.
What it works with
Your document stores
Shared drives, wikis and intranets you choose; named once the connection is confirmed.
Your access rights
Existing permissions are followed, not copied into a new system.
Sync schedule
How often changes and deletions are picked up.
How we check it works
Known-answer retrieval
A set of questions with known answers checks that the right passage is found.
Access denial
Test users must not see documents outside their rights, in every test.
Freshness
A changed or deleted document stops appearing in answers after the agreed sync.
What to keep in mind
- Search only covers the sources you connect, and only what each person may access.
- Outdated documents give outdated answers; the references show which document an answer used.
What shapes the scope and quote
- The number of sources and how their permissions work.
- The volume of documents and how often they change.
- The number of languages and user groups.
Results
Results from client projects
Published only with each client's approval.
Frequently asked questions
Can everyone see every document?
No. The search follows access rules, so people only get answers from what they are allowed to see.
Which sources can you connect?
Sources that offer an API or an export, such as common drives, wikis and document systems. We check yours in the discover step.
Does it copy our documents somewhere else?
It builds a search index from the sources you choose, in the location agreed in writing. The security page explains how data is handled.
What if two documents disagree?
The answer shows both references, so the reader can see the conflict, and the evaluation lists such cases for you to resolve.
